Queer as Punk

Sun 13 September, 2:00pm

We’re screening Queer as Punk as part of our programme celebrating Dumfries Pride 2026, which takes place in Dumfries on Saturday 19 September.

Three queer Malaysian punks challenge censorship, conservatism and expectations as they fight to make music. It’s about friendship, identity, resistance and the courage it takes to claim your place in the world.

Pride

Sun 20 September, 2:00pm

A joyous, funny and moving comedy-drama based on the extraordinary true story of an unlikely alliance between LGBTQ+ activists and striking miners.

We’re screening Pride on Sunday 20 September, the day after Dumfries Pride 2026, as part of our support for this year’s Pride.

Derek vs Derek

Sun 11 October, 2:00pm

Just eight days after its UK cinema release, we’re delighted to screen Derek vs Derek – a funny, warm and surprisingly moving documentary about two neighbouring farmers called Derek with radically different ideas about the future of the countryside.

What do you do when your neighbour goes completely wild?

We’re a Co-op Local Cause — and You Can Help!

We’re thrilled to share that Moffat Seed Library has been selected for the Co-op Local Community Fund this year!

If you’re a Co-op member, you can choose Moffat Seed Library as your Local Cause — and every time you shop, the Co-op donates a small amount to support our work. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and it really adds up.

Your support helps us:

  • Stock more free seeds
  • Run more workshops and events
  • Share seed-saving skills
  • Keep our project free and welcoming for everyone

Please share this with friends and neighbours — especially those who shop at the Co-op!
