Root So Deep
Sun 15 February, 2:00pm
Can an underutilized way to graze cattle, that mimics the way bison once roamed the land, help get farmers out of debt, restore our depleted soils, rebuild wildlife habitat and draw down huge amounts of carbon? Cattle have been seen as eco-villains for a long time. What if they can help save us from catastrophic climate change?
Episodes 1 and 4 of a documentary series all about inventive farmers and maverick scientists building a path to solving climate change with hooves, heart and soil.

My Friend, The Mountain
Sat 21 February, 7:30pm
An intimate, one-person play by actor Cath Barrett, first performed at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe, that explores our relationship with landscape and place.
The story follows Skye, who finds comfort and clarity in walking the hills when life starts to feel complicated — a space to think, feel, and keep going. The piece is reflective, gently humorous, and rooted in the Scottish landscape.

We’re a Co-op Local Cause — and You Can Help!
We’re thrilled to share that Moffat Seed Library has been selected for the Co-op Local Community Fund this year!
If you’re a Co-op member, you can choose Moffat Seed Library as your Local Cause — and every time you shop, the Co-op donates a small amount to support our work. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and it really adds up.
Your support helps us:
- Stock more free seeds
- Run more workshops and events
- Share seed-saving skills
- Keep our project free and welcoming for everyone
Please share this with friends and neighbours — especially those who shop at the Co-op!
