Thanks to everyone who took part in ShareFest 2025 — the community response was fantastic. It highlighted just how resourceful our community is and how ready people are to get involved.

Ready for more ShareFest in 2026?

ShareFest is changing shape. Instead of one big week-long festival, we’re spreading events throughout the year with three or four themed ShareFest Swaps. Each one is simple, useful and sociable — a chance to pass things on, pick things up and meet people.

What’s coming up

We’re still shaping the 2026 programme and have a few great ideas in the pipeline — but we’d love to hear yours too.

Each ShareFest event will be a themed Swap at Studio Moffat, with open mic slots, cakes and refreshments. We’ll announce each theme closer to the date, and we’re keen to make sure they reflect what people in the community actually want and need.

If you’ve got a suggestion for a future ShareFest Swap — big or small — let us know. The best ideas are going to come from the community itself.

Local Resource Map — launching Feb 2026

Launching alongside the Timebank, our new Local Resource Map will be an ongoing, evolving record of skills, tools, offers and practical know-how. It’s designed to work closely with the Timebank so it’s easier for people to help each other out and make the most of what’s already available locally.

Why ShareFest matters

Sharing keeps useful things in use.
It reduces waste.
It saves money.
And it helps people meet, talk and support each other.

2025 showed that our community is more than ready for this — and we’re excited to build on that momentum in 2026.
